As a small, North Shore–based building company, A D Builders offers something larger firms often can’t - direct communication, personal accountability and genuine care for the outcome. When you work with us, you work directly with Andy, who remains hands-on throughout your project to ensure every detail meets a high standard. We believe in honest, straightforward communication, clear timelines, realistic expectations and quality craftsmanship without shortcuts or hidden surprises. Our goal is to make the building process feel organised, transparent and manageable from start to finish.
With more than 30 years of experience working in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand, Andy brings a well-rounded and adaptable approach to residential building. That international experience, combined with a trusted network of skilled local trades, allows us to deliver coordinated, high-quality results while maintaining the personalised service of a small company. Much of our work comes through referrals - a reflection of the trust we build with our clients and the pride we take in doing things properly.
MEET ANDY
A D Builders Auckland Ltd is a North Shore–based residential building company led by Andy Dibble, a builder with more than 30 years of hands-on experience across New Zealand, Australia, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands.
Building isn’t just Andy’s profession, it’s his craft. Over three decades, he has developed a depth of knowledge that only comes from working across different countries, construction styles and building standards. From heritage restorations, shop fit outs and cabinet making in Europe to modern residential projects in Australasia, this experience shapes the way he approaches every project today.
Now based in Auckland, Andy focuses on what he does best: high-quality alterations, renovations, extensions and character home restorations. Rather than large-scale new builds, A D Builders specialises in improving and transforming existing homes, helping families create spaces that work better for the way they live.
