Tohunga Crescent, Parnell

This project transformed a modest two-bedroom house into a modern, beach-style three-bedroom family home. Located in Parnell, where space is at a premium, we collaborated with a leading Auckland architect to maximise the available floor area by extending the lower level to the site boundary. Due to challenging site access, a Groundscrew foundation system was selected for the foundations, allowing efficient installation with minimal disruption.

Key features of the renovation included a large deck and “green roof” garden designed to capture sweeping views across Hobson Bay and the Hauraki Gulf, striking ensuite bathroom featuring floor-to-ceiling shower glass and a functional office nook and a custom-built window seat, adding both practicality and character to the home.
